Introduction quote: The Sheriff said in a quote“mature, very big, aggressive” with “high potential” for being dangerous to humans. “We could not have animals running loose in this county,” he said. “We could not have that.”
Explaining the Quote: Basically what the sheriff is saying is that he couldn't let some of the animals live because they were too dangerous, and could kill anybody.

citation - A quotation from or reference to a book, paper, or author, etc. in a scholarly work. They may be used to prove something, or can be used as an assertion.
MLA format - established standards of written communication concerning: formatting and page layout, stylistic technicalities, citing sources, and preparing a manuscript for publication in certain disciplines.
Works cited page - putting down where you get your material, in other words, give credit to whom the work belongs to.
Annotated bibliography - Includes a summary and evaluation of each of the sources. Depending on your project or the assignment, your annotations may be summarized, assessed and reflected.
Quoting - the words taken from a text or speech and repeated by someone other than the original author or speaker. It must be identical to the original, using a narrow segment of the source. It is used to provide support for claims or add credibility to the writing.
Paraphrasing - putting a passage from source material into your own words. It is used to give examples of several points of view on a subject.
Summarizing - putting the main idea into your own words.
Plagiarism - the uncredited use of somebody else's words or ideas.
